About me

I was born in Scottsdale Arizona, grew up in Downingtown Pennsylvania with my mom, moved to Chandler Arizona when my mom passed, and then came back to Pennsylvania for college. Pennsylvania is where I remain today. There is nothing quite like four seasons executed in such beauty, something difficult to find out west.

Graduated from Penn State with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Graduated from Juniata College with an MS in Bioinformatics.

Honorably separated from the Army.

Watching the snow fall outside my window.

There was a subtle tapping on my face. It was sporadic. The taps ran down my skin, leaving a cool wet trail. The taps increased in repetition until it was a fast drizzle. Rain. I couldn’t yet find the strength in myself to open my eyes. Instead, I lay there, hearing the rain as it touched the apparent leaves around me as I heard it pattering against their waxy surfaces. I could hear the low push of the wind rustling those leaves too. I could hear the faint sound of birds calling out. This was euphoria.
